The Group is amongst the first to introduce 5-star hotel establishments to Macau. With shareholding interests in the Westin Resort Macau and Mandarin Oriental Macau, the Group has a solid foothold in the region’s hospitality landscape. Westin offers a tranquil, leisurely and non-gaming environment adjacent to the Macau Golf and Country Club, while the 213-room Mandarin Oriental Macau offers signature service and award-winning spa and dining options for the discerning tourist market. In addition, discussion with the Macao SAR Government is underway to develop another ultra-luxurious hotel in the Cotai tourism epicenter to be managed by the Jumeirah Group.
Shun Tak has also defined its presence in Hong Kong through a 70% shareholding in the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel, which opened in Dec 2008. Connected to the AsiaWorld-Expo, the 658-room waterfront facility is a leading airport hotel in Hong Kong, located just minutes away from the Hong Kong International Airport and SkyPier.
In 2013, the Group established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Artyzen Hospitality Group, under which it will be managing its own collection of luxury hotel brands characterized by unique Asian offerings.
